Steve Bateman was chasing a second win on the bounce as the Dynamos travelled to Crawley Green. Alfi Touceda was back from injury and in the starting line up. Also, new signing, Brian Haule, was on the bench after signing from Risborough Rangers.

The first 10 minutes saw both teams struggling to get control of the ball and creating minimal chances. The Dynamos won a corner which Callum Shortt swung in, but Crawley defended well. 18 minutes and Crawley had a good chance to open the scoring but for a superb block by Jack Hodgins who threw himself into block the shot. A few minutes later and Alfi Touceda supplied a ball to Dave Brown who raced through but hit his shot wide of the mark. With half an hour gone Crawley got the breakthrough as they broke through and scored with a close range effort past James Weatherill. 1-0 Crawley Green.

The response was good from Aylesbury as they started to put some passes together and a shot from Jake Baldwin whistled wide and a speculative shot from Chris Stapleton was blocked and looped just over the bar. 40 minutes in and Dynamos were back level. Jake Baldwin swung a corner in and Chris Stapleton was at the back post to head the ball past the keeper. Great goal. 1-1. A couple of minutes later and Chris Stapleton collected a pass from Aaron Berry and was taken out in the box…PENALTY…nope…the referee waved play on…!? How !?

Half time: Crawley Green 1-1 Dynamos

Within a couple of minutes of the second half starting, Callum Shortt played a ball inside to Dave Brown who beat a player but blazed a shot over the bar. 51 minutes and the best chance of the match…Alfi Touceda battled to win the ball and passed to Jake Baldwin on the left, he hit a low cross across the 6-yard box and Aaron Berry just didn’t connect and it went past everyone. 54 minutes and Crawley Green scramble a shot off the line and the ball falls to Jake Baldwin, but he fails to connect with an air shot and Crawley Green clear. Another shot from Dave Brown goes wide and Crawley also have a half chance which they miss the target as both teams go searching for the winner.

Over an hour gone and a good run Kuda Sangoya plays in Aaron Berry. He controls and sends the ball back to Kuda Sangoya who blazes a shot over the bar. 69 minutes and the important second goal for Dynamos arrived. Some good work from Alfi Touceda sees him squeeze a pass through to Aaron Berry who steadies himself and smashes the ball past the keeper. 1-2 Dynamos.

Jake Baldwin then was released down the left wing by Will Mullarkey and he ran into the box with 2 players screaming for a cross, Jake lashed the ball into the side netting. 80 minutes and new signing Brian Haule came on for Aaron Berry .A few minutes later and Will Mullarkey made a late challenge and got booked. Jake Baldwin hit the deck (again) and was subbed off with 5 minutes left, Montel Brown coming on to complete the match. Crawley Green had one last attack which Terry Griffiths cleared well
