Steve Bateman is still searching for his preferred starting eleven and today Montel Brown was back in the starting line up and Davis Haule was also back in. On the bench, the impressive Development player, Jack Aldridge, was also hoping for his debut. The big news was that new signing, James Weatherill, was in goal for todays visit of Flackwell Heath.

It was a nervy start for Dynamos as Flackwell were having the majority of possession in the early exchanges. Dave Brown managed to find some space on the right hand side and hit a low cross into the box but no-one was there to get on the end of it. Moments later Dynamos had their best effort as Chris Stapleton collected a ball from Roy Byron and hit a shot which was well saved. 12 minutes in and a long throw from Chris Stapleton was flicked on by Jon Munday but Montel Brown was just unable to connect.

Quarter of an hour gone and James Weatherill was called into action as he saved well from a Flackwell shot. 21 minutes and Flackwell took the lead. A free kick was not cleared and after a couple of deflections, they put the ball past James Weatherill. 0-1 Flackwell. On the half hour Dave Brown battled well and managed to get a shot away which the keeper saved.

38 minutes and Jon Munday slips leaving the Flackwell attacker through on goal. Luckily Terry Griffiths was aware and made a superb tackle.
41 minutes and Flackwell made it 2 goals. A decent long range effort flew into the top corner of the net with James Weatherill no chance. Good goal to be fair. 0-2 Flackwell.

Half time: AVDFC 0-2 Flackwell Heath

With 50 minutes gone, another superb strike from Flackwell saw the score increase to 3-0 as Dynamos were struggling for possession as they wrapped up the points with just over half the match gone. 56 minutes and Flackwell will be disappointed not to make it 4 as James Weatherill made a great save, low to his left to stop a certain goal. Steve Bateman made a change on 62 minutes as Roy Byron was taken off and Davide Pobbe brought on. A few minutes later Callum Shortt picked up a ball from Jake Baldwin and took on the defence, hitting a decent shot which the keeper gathered.

74 minutes in and Dynamos had a goal back. Montel Brown battled well on the right and found Callum Shortt in space. He side-stepped his man and hit a decent shot which the keeper palmed away, but Davide Pobbe was first to react and smashed it past the keeper. 3-1 Flackwell.
Dynamos battled for the next 10 minutes but couldn’t force their way through the Flackwell defence. 87 minutes and James Weatherill pulled off the save of the match as he saved a Flackwell shot onto the post and away for a corner. Jack Aldridge cleared the resulting corner. Montel Brown was replaced by Joe Chott in the final few minutes but there was no more action as Flackwell ran out comfortable winners.
