The Moles travelled to AFC Hayes for their first game since 12th January and after an excellent first half where it looked as if they would cruise to victory, eventually took all three points after a very tight second half as AFC Hayes fought their way back into the game.
The game started brightly for FC when Max Farrelly found himself six yards out with a gaping goal but mis kicked and the chance came to nothing, Brian Haule had a shot from twenty yards which went wide as The Moles dominated play. On 31 minutes Simpson put the ball into the box James Faulkner forced a save from the AFC Hayes keeper but Brian Haule was on hand to poke the ball into the net for a deserved lead. Just before halftime that lead was extended by the excellent Sonny French as he intercepted a ball on the halfway line and calmly slotted past the keeper from the edge of the box.

Just five minutes into the second half and Man of the match Sonny French scored the third and his second and The Moles were cruising. Aylesbury then seemed to go to sleep as Buckle almost immediately pulled one back for the home team, Davis Haule seemed to have settled the game after 64 minutes with his first goal of the season but quick goals from Mendy and Shennan gave Aylesbury a very nervous last ten minutes and eventually a deserved win.
