Aylesbury started off well playing down the slope & on 9 minutes Luke Abraham had a 22 yrd shot got pushed out by the Barton keeper Jamie Connor followed up to smash it home only to be adjudged offside,19 mins gone & against the run of play Barton scored, the striker lobbing Simeon Charles from 25 yrds. Barton were working hard closing FC down well but still chances fell with shots from Connor, Jonathan Constant & Sonny French all missing the target. Barton then scored their 2nd on 42 mins but there was still time for Abraham to unleash a 40 yrd rocket that the Home keeper did well to keep out. Brian Haule replaced Connor on 53 minutes & just a few minutes later he bundled the ball in from a corner (unfortunately taking the keeper with it. On 59 minutes, Charles was found guilty of pulling his man down inside the area & from the spot Dance sent Charles the wrong way to make it 3-0. FC pulled one back 2 minutes later after some great work down the right from Lamar Simpson who squared it to Wayne O'Sullivan who picked his spot to slot home 3-1. Minutes later & a cross from Brian Haule found French who could only head straight at the keeper from 8 yrds. On 69 minutes Constant did well on the left to centre a low ball for Brian Haule to finish 3-2. A few more chances fell to FC but unfortunately the very hard working Barton held on doggedly for the win.
