
After the euphoria of back to back victories, Dynamos were ready for the visit of Leverstock Green on a wet and miserable Tuesday night. The pitch was playable and the referee happy for the match to go ahead.
It was always going to be a tough game in these conditions and the first five minutes both teams struggled to get a foot on the ball. A couple of overhit passes and poor control saw a midfield battle in the rain. However, on 6 minutes Alfie Gaspar sprayed the ball out wide to Jake Baldwin and his cross was met by Bruno Brito but his header was inches over the bar. Straight from this Dynamos attack came Leverstock who broke down their right and the cross was dealt with by Joe Fitzgerald covering in the middle. The resulting corner was eventually cleared by Roy Byron after a goalmouth scramble.
11 minutes on the clock and Bruno Brito was fouled about 30 yards out on the left flank. Harry Scott hit the free kick long but Dan Wilson was just unable to keep the ball in play. Less than a minute later and Leverstock were on the attack, Dan McAteer was adjudged to have fouled the Leverstock player in the box and Penalty awarded. The penalty was despatched by Overington to make it 0-1.
Just over 20 minutes played and Dynamos were looking like they could get an equaliser, Derek Feyi played the ball out to Harry Scott who beat his player, created room and hit a screamer against the post and Leverstock cleared the ball. 29 minutes played and Leverstock threated again, this time James Weatherill made a great save tipping the ball past the post. However, the resulting corner saw Leverstock rise the highest and Overington again on the scoresheet making it 0-2. On 39 minutes Alfie Gaspar crossed the ball to the ever-willing Jake Baldwin but he had crept offside.

Into the second half and within the first minute the referee gave a handball against Joe Fitzgerald and the free kick was hit just over the bar from Leverstock, that would have been game over. The conditions were getting worse as the pitch was carving up, both teams were not keeping possession and some hopeful balls from both teams were all to report in the next 15 minutes. During this period, Phil Granville made his 3 substitutions bring in Abu Khan, Ben Gill and Jacob Troughton-Smith for Bruno Brito, Jake Baldwin and Alfi Touceda.
However, is was Leverstock who got the vital 3rd goal. beating the offside trap and Mannion slid the ball past James Weatherill to make it 0-3.
With 5 minutes of the game left a speculative ball forward from Leverstock rolled towards James Weatherill who took a step back to launch it forward, however with Mannion closing him down, the ball got stuck in the mud and despite a desperate sliding tackle from Weathers, Mannion got to the ball first and dinked it over him to find an empty net. 0-4.
In the 3 minutes of injury time Dynamos had two good opportunities to score. First Abu Khan created some room and his rocket shot was well blocked before Harry Scott had a late free kick whistle past the post.
