Aylesbury played three quarters of this game with ten men after Lewis Strafford was dismissed for a head butt in the first half. The remaining players played like lions in this rearguard action as they kept the visitors at bay until an equaliser on seventy three minutes. The Moles deserved the draw but seven minutes into added time Ty Deacon broke the Moles fans hearts with a scrambled effort took the points.

There were more changes for FC as Derek Feyi is now out for at least a month with a broken hand sustained in the draw against Barton last weekend. Craig Carby partnered Jordan Jenkins in the middle of defence, Temi Oladejo slotted in at left back and Nick Bennion returned in goal.

It was the home side that had the first effort after just seven minutes, a mazy run from Aaron King saw him find space and unleash a shot from the outside of the box, it was blocked by a Kempston defender before falling to Martin Griggs but his shot was well saved by the Kempston keeper. Josh Williams then did well to keep a Reece Bayliss cross in play, he laid the ball to Griggs on the edge of the box but his curled effort went just wide of the far post.

Kempston's first opportunity came after twenty one minutes when a Kempston corner was flicked on by Crawley onto Acquaye at the back post, his shot looked a certain goal but Temi Oladejo came to the rescue to block on the goal line,. Straight after it was Aylesbury who took a deserved lead, a corker of a volleyed crossfield pass from Griggs found Reece Bayliss out on the right in acres of space. He sprinted into the box and made no mistake with a low driven finish past the keeper.

Kempston should have equalised soon after when a curling ball in from the left alluded everyone, it dropped to Crawley on the penalty spot - but the striker smashed the ball over the bar from six yards.

FCs job was made much harder before the break when Lewis Strafford was adjudged to have butted a Kempston player and the referee had no hesitation in sending the big midfielder off, against a team like Kempston this was now going to be a very big ask to hold out.

Now playing with two banks of four and Martin Griggs playing alone up front, it was the away side that were pushing for an equaliser as they smelt blood. Mason Spence had the first opportunity but his header was narrowly wide of the Aylesbury goal. Collard then rattled Bennion's bar with a header which went over.

FC were mighty in defence, throwing themselves at everything with bodies being put on the line all over the field, then on the hour there was a great chance to extend the lead. Some more hold up play from Martin Griggs allowed Josh Williams to find space on the left, he received the ball from Griggs, flicked it over his head to Aaron King who beat a few defenders but his low shot was parried away. The rebound fell to Griggs but his shot was saved.

Carl Tappin had the next chance, again Griggs instigated the play - he held the ball up and laid it off Tappin who got forward from midfield. and struck the ball on the run but Conway got down well to claim.

The inevitable equaliser came on seventy three minutes when a ball in was well met by the head of Shane Bush who powered into the corner of the goal. It was all Kempston now as they searched for the winner, balls were now being pumped forward with the home defence holding firm with desperate clearances but eventually, seven minutes into added time a hopeful ball into the box hit ex Mole Ty Deacon and rolled into the back of the net to break FC hearts.

A real backs to the wall performance from Aylesbury, who until the sending off were having the better of the encounter. On Saturday it's FA Trophy action at Haywood Way as Herne Bay are the visitors to the SRD
