Manager Scott Reynolds shuffled the pack as The Moles looked for their first win of the season. Josh Williams replaced David Femiola at right wing back, new signings Reece Bayliss and George Boland made their debuts replacing Temi Oladjeo and the unavailable Jordan Jenkins with Lewis Strafford moving from midfield into the back three.

On a glorious September afternoon it was the visitors who were straight out of the blocks, After just one minute Matthew Hearsey was released in acres of space on the right, his shot towards the far post was deflected behind by man of the match Derek Feyi and the resultant corner was punched away by Nick Bennion to safety. It wasn't the the last time that the big centre half would be at the heart of the action.

On eight minutes the lively Omar Haughton had a curling effort from the outside of the box, but it went straight into the arms of Bennion in the home goal. FC though did have chances of their own, on sixteen minutes a Josh Williams corner was met by a Derek Feyi header, which fell to Aaron King, but his half volley ballooned over the bar. Then a Bennion goal kick was deftly nodded down by King, into the path of Ryan Ware, but his shot was deflected away for a corner.

As with the previous games this season Aylesbury were losing possession too easily as they looked for the breakthrough and allowing the opposition too much room in the midfield allowing pressure to build. The best chance of the first half fell to the away side after twenty three minutes, the FC back line thought Jordan Nadat was offside from a long ball but the flag never came but fortunately for FC the striker's toe poked effort went wide of the post and out for safety.

The second half started much as the first had, there was an early chance for Sutton Coldfield when Nick Bennion pulled off a great point blank save to deny Nadat and keep it all square, but again the home side fought back and were creating their own opportunities, sime great interplay between substitute Bruno Brito and Aaron King led to the ball making its way to Ryan Ware but his driven shot went straight to Gwilliam in the away goal.

Aylesbury's best chance came on the hour mark, a corker of a ball out from the back from Derek Feyi founds King on the left wing. His deep cross fell to Josh Williams at the back stick who chested the ball over the bar when sticking his head on it would surely have been the best option.

Then the two minutes that changed the game, Sutton Coldfield made a couple of substitutions which immediately paid dividends, a ball over the top caught out the Aylesbury defence and left Bennion in no mans land, the ball fell to substitute Leo Brown and he lobbed the ball home for the lead. A minute later and FC were left shell shocked when the other sub Jonathan Letford tured the afterburners on, sprinting through the FC defence without anyone appearing to want to make a tackle, converting low into the bottom right.

That second goal finished the game, Aylesbury never looked like scoring after that and the game petered out into another disappointing defeat.
