

is always a tough place to play. FC though, came back from Honeycroft with all three points, coming back from behind on two occasions and a with last minute Brian Haule winner. Haule has now scored ten in his last nine games, his best run of form in an Aylesbury shirt.
FC went into the game without Jonny Montgomery who joined the increasing casualty list which already includes crocked Jeanmal Prosper & Grant Fryer. Aston Goss continued at Right Back and the returning Kieron Schmidt took Montgomery's place in midfield with Gareth Price supporting Haule up front.
FC were stunned after six minutes when Uxbridge took the lead from a corrner when Mitchell Wiseman headed home from close range. It was FC though that were dominating the play, a Lynton Goss cross was cut out just before Brian Haule could get to it, Gareth Price then ran on to a trough ball but again Keeper Paul McCarthy was alert and cust out the danger. The deserved equaliser came on twenty three minutes when Price slotted the ball under Wiseman for his second goal in two games.
The game then ebb'd and flowed with half chances at both ends but it was Uxbridge that were going to go in at half time with a lead, right on forty five minutes FC keeper James Weatherill broguht down Anthony O'Connor in the box and Referee Dele Botmirin had no option but to point to the spot for a Penalty. Lewis Cole then sent Weatherill the wrong to make it 2-1.
Aylesbury started well in the second period with lots of pressure, a number of corners but no real clear chances. With the half slipping away inform Brian Haule got the better of Uxbridge defender Mark Dennison, took the ball round McCarthy to slot home for the equaliser. FC were starting to apply pressure with more corners. Uxbridge though were still in the game, Weatherill had to pounch clear from a free kick.
Danny Murphy thought he had won the game when one of his trademark direct free kicks cannoned off of the upright but it was stiker Haule that who did win it when a cross from the left by Gareth Price was met by the big striker and he headed home two minutes into injury time.
The Moles now travel to Fleet on Tuesday looking for their fourth victory in a row as they maintain the challenge for promotion.
