Dynamos were finally back in action after 4 weeks with no games due to flooding at the club and 2 away matches called off for the same reason.
They made the short trip to local rivals, Winslow United, for a league match on Saturday afternoon.
Winslow started the stronger and had a half chance for former Dynamos, Rocko Tamplin, but he missed the target.
11 minutes in and Winslow had another chance but Plumbridge was equal to it, making the save.
At the other end, the first real sight of goal came on the quarter hour mark as Williamson played a delightful ball over to Brown and his shot was well held by their keeper.
Rocko went close again when a ball across the middle saw him with a chance but he failed to connect.
Winslow had the best chance of the half when Rocko beat the offside trap and raced through on goal, only for Plumbridge to come steaming out and make a superb sliding tackle to win the ball from Rocko’s feet. Great save.
33 minutes and Lawrence raced onto a ball through by Williamson but the Winslow keeper was equal to it, making a good save to deny Dynamos the opening goal.
It was a real open half as both teams were now creating chances. Another Winslow shot went wide as Griffiths made a decent challenge.
Half time 0-0
The second half sprung to life in the 51st minute as some great skill from Garcia saw him fouled but the Winslow captain, Freshwater, stamped on his back to get a straight red from the referee.
Dynamos now needed to make the numerical advantage work and they made a quick substitute with new signing Peterson, coming on for Baldwin.
Almost immediately Dynamos got the goal they needed.
Khan won the ball and played a great ball down to Garcia, he skipped past a challenge and sent a lovely ball into the middle where Ebondo was waiting to volley home from close range. 0-1 Dynamos.
Within 2 minutes Dynamos doubled their lead. Garcia the provider again as he squared the ball to Peterson who was 20 yards out. He skipped past a challenge and curled a superb effort, over the keeper and into the top corner of the goal. What a debut goal that was…!!! 0-2 Dynamos.
An earlier injury to Williamson saw him replaced for the final 15 minutes by Ackah-Sanzar.
Dynamos were playing the ball around and frustrating the opposition, Peterson and Lawrence both having chances which the Winslow keeper saved.
84 minutes and Garcia again was causing problems. He was flattened by a foul, but managed to get up, play on and send in a great ball across the 6 yard box where Lawrence was on hand to tap home and send the away support into raptures.
Jenkins and Pascal came on for the final few minutes and Pascal almost grabbed another but his curling effort was just over the bar.
A great away day performance.
