AVDFC 5-0 Dunstable Town

After the disappointing close 3-2 defeat against Potton on Saturday, Dynamos faced local rivals Dunstable Town in the 4th League game of the season.
Abu was switched to right back and Blaaze came into the starting 11.

Dynamos started brightly and Bax Daffeh and Blaaze both had early shots saved. However, it wasn’t long until Dynamos opened the scoring.
Anderson was the architect beating a player and finding Dave Brown, he swung in a lovely cross where Bax Daffeh was on hand to head home. 1-0 Dynamos.

A couple of yellow cards were shown, one for Dunstable player and Anderson going in the book for a late challenge.
Half an hour played and Daffeh carved out an opening for Anderson, but his shot went over the bar.
Dynamos had the ball in the net on 34 minutes after Baldwin’s shot was spilled and Brownie stole the ball and slotted it home, but the referee gave a foul.

37 minutes and Dynamos took control. A weak clearance was pounced upon by Baldwin who got a vital touch and the ball fell to Bax Daffeh. He danced his way through 3 challenges into the box and beat the keeper with a low shot. 2-0 Dynamos.

A few minutes later and Dynamos were out of sight. Baldwin gained control on the right wing and sent a lovely ball into the box where Brownie was lurking, unmarked, and headed home. 3-0 Dynamos.

Dunstable had an early chance but Sean Locke-Hart came out and claimed well, getting clattered in the process.
58 minutes and Bax Daffeh completed a superb hat-trick. Jacob Williamson played a lofted pass straight into the feet of Bax who controlled, side stepped the stranded keeper and calmly slotted into an empty net. 4-0 Dynamos.

Paul Batchelor made a few subs in the next 15 minutes bringing on Nabil Salum, Rheon Pascal and Aidan for Jordan, Brownie and Bax Deffah…with an eye on Saturdays FA Cup match.

73 minutes and Aidan found Jacob in acres of space and his shot whistled over the bar from 30 yards out.
The final sub saw Owen Broughton replace the excellent Alfie Anderson for the final 15 minutes.
In the 82nd minute a bad tackle from Dunstable player saw him get a second yellow and was subsequently sent off. Baldwin also got a yellow for the following fracas.

88 minutes and a good run from Broughton saw him taken down 20 yards out. Aidan stepped up but his free kick went over.
A minute later Jacob became provider again when his superb ball over the top saw Blaaze racing through on goal and converted superbly. 5-0 Dynamos.
