On the half hour mark, Captain Griffiths dwelled on the ball too long and the Potton No.3 nicked it and was through on goal, his shot was poor and Jones managed to save well.
Moments later Rio controlled a ball out by Attwell and moved forward, then he was taken down giving Dynamos a free kick 30 yards out. Deall dusted himself down and hit the free kick on target, but the keeper saved.
The breakthrough came on 35 minutes when Rosner picked out Deall in the middle with some space and he sent Curtis Brown through on goal. Great composure and decent shot, beating the keeper at his near post. 0-1 Dynamos.
It was a frantic end to the half as Potton pushed forward in numbers. A ball to the back post was headed against the bar, Jones maybe getting a vital touch and Empson cleared the ball.

Dynamos then had the perfect chance to gain the lead again. Curtis played a ball into Abu Khan and he managed to control and race into the box, getting taken out in the process. Penalty shouts, penalty given. Rio Deall stepped up and hit his penalty to the keepers right but he managed to get across and save it well. Potton cleared the ball. Score remains at 1-1.

82 minutes and Rio Deall picked up a knock and Jet Dyer came on for the remainder.
Curtis Brown had another effort which hit the side netting and Potton had another decent header from a corner which Jones managed to save.
The match was now into injury time and a draw looked likely. However, Dynamos kept pushing and Rosner battled well down the right side, combining with Curtis and Rosner manager to squeeze a low cross which eluded everyone, other than Jack Empson who raced from halfway to get on the end of the cross and stick it in the net. Great goal…winning goal….Empson’s Goal !!! 1-2 Dynamos.
