Dynamos were back in League action against Potton after their recent FA Cup run came to an end. Liam and Easty made a couple of changes to what is becoming a settled team.

Potton certainly started the stronger and forced an early clearance from Terry and also Liam made a smart save down to his right.
On 12 minutes Dynamos showed some desire to get forward Nugent linking with Abu and sending in a cross which was headed clear.
Brownie then won the ball and was taken down 25 yards from goal. Ollie stepped up and had 4 attempts as Potton blocked his shots, but eventually they cleared their lines.
Before the half hour mark Studley was the busier keeper by some way and made a couple of decent saves, but the pressure finally told as their No.7 weaved through a few challenges and slotted home. 0-1 Potton.
Minutes later and Dynamos should have been level, a mistake from their keeper saw Brownie with a free header into an unguarded net…he headed the ball down and it bounced up, hit the bar and was saved by the keeper. So unlucky.
Fulton had a couple of free kicks, one went wide and the other was met by Ollie but didn’t trouble the keeper.
The final action of the half saw Ollie with a rasping long range effort but the keeper made the save.

Half Time – AVDFC 0-1 Potton

Brownie was straight into action in the second half as he went on a great run beating 3 players and his shot forced a decent save from the Potton keeper.
Fabian Garcia was soon introduced for Sam Wood, who had struggled to make an impact in the first half.
At the other end a last gasp tackle from Nugent saw him concede a corner. Dynamos partially cleared but a strong shot from Potton No.7 saw his, and Potton’s second goal. 0-2 Potton.
Jake Baldwin was then introduced on 60 minutes, replacing Luke Nugent in the defence. Mullarkey going over to right back.
Tom Kennard then picked up a Yellow Card for a late challenge.
65 minutes and Potton had sewn up the game with another decent effort from their hat-trick hero, No.7, hitting a lovely shot over Studley and into the top corner. 0-3 Potton.
Young U18’s player Kris Collier was then introduced, replacing Tom Kennard in the middle.
Another Fulton free kick almost caught the Potton defence out, but the keeper made a decent save again.
78 minutes and Brownie was replaced by Callum Shortt, who was deployed high up the pitch alongside Ollie.
Five minutes later and a 30 yard thunderous strike from Potton beat Studley and put them well out of sight at 0-4.
Will Mullarkey then had a bad injury with a dislocated shoulder, having to go off and straight to hospital. Jack Aldridge came on for the final few minutes of the match.
The final attack saw Potton get in behind Dynamos defence and slot in from close range to make the final score Dynamos 0-5 Potton.
