Aylesbury went into this tie without Bruno Brito, Alex Woodfine, Terry Matthews, Dan Wilson, Jonny Montgomery and long term injury Lewis Strafford, so again Paul Bonham had to change things around. In came loanees Nuredin Lilaj and Derek Feyi into the centre of defence with Drew Phillips returning to partner Keith Mupfururirwa in attack.

It was a slow start by both sides as both teams came to terms with a bumpy dry Levy pitch. Returning Derek Feyi's day was to last just twenty minutes as the big centre half was yellow carded in the sixteenth minute for stupidly kicking a ball away and then three minutes later received his second yellow after a tussle with Leverstock's Zak Howells.This was now going to be a very tough afternoon for the away side, but actually the Dynamos all came together and took control of the tie. On twenty five minutes Harry Scott picked the ball up on the right flank, he bamboozled the left back whipped in a low ball into the penalty area where Drew Phillips got in front of the defender to toe poke the ball past the home keeper.

Drew Phillips, now ploughing a lone farrow up front had a snap shot on the half hour which was saved by home keeper Matt Fallon.

Even with ten men it was Aylesbury in the ascendency, Harry Scott was giving the full back a torrid time and just four minutes in the winger slipped in Phillips but his shot was driven over the bar. Three minutes later Scott again flew past the left back, vut back inside and his low left footed drive flew just past the foot of the post.

With ten minutes of normal time left Levy had their best chance, Jake Williamson hit a right foot drive which James Weatherill parried at full length and then snapped up the loose ball, getting a kick in the face for his trouble which caused a long delay as he had blood piuring from his nose.

With Weatherill still a little groggy the game re started and a strike from Ollie Cox was deflected past the AVDFC keeper. The home side now had their tails up and had a series of corners but couldn't get the goal they needed to close out the tie and eventually the referee blew for full time, meaning an extra period of thrity minutes would be played.

The best chance of the extra period fell to Aylesbury when a ball in found Nuredin Lilaj on the edge of the box, the centre half knocked the ball into the air swivelled and threw himself into an overhead kick, but the stunning volley was cleared off the line by Steve Hawes.
