In the first real heat of the summer a young Moles side which was missing Ben Bateman, Ben Stevens, JJ Lofthouse-Smith and Martin Griggs took to the 3G at Brunel University in a game that was more about getting to know your team mates & blowing away the cobwebs than worrying about the result.

FC were 2-0 down after 20 minutes with two defensive errors as the boys got to know each other. James Faulkner pulled one back with a smart finish on 37 minutes but Walton streched their lead again just before the half with a well taken goal.

As usual in these types of games there were mass changes at half time for both sides and FC came more into the game during that second period. A Jordan Jenkins header from a corner pulled another back and then a Ken Feyi close range effort five minutes before the end completed the scoring.

All in all a good day and workout for the boys.
