Chalfont St Peter 1-5 U13's Colts
In some tough conditions with the rain and muddy pitch, the U13's set off to face Chalfont St Peter on Sunday morning.
There was some good play from the Colts team and they played very well, despite the conditions.
A superb hat-trick from Oliver Sliwinski set the tone and two more goals from George Whetter and Himank Tripathy sealed a very good victory for the boys.
The comedy moment of the match was when the referee stopped play due to a frog on the pitch. Some reports are saying this may have been a native Aylesbury toad....but we may never find out. However, Chris Whetter was the saviour as he single handedly braved the beast and removed it from the field of play, so the match could continue.
Great result for U13's Colts and in a bizarre twist...they face the same Chalfont team at home next week.
