Dynamos were sitting 2 points clear of Maidenhead in the table as the final match of the season kicked off. The Dynamos only needed a draw to secure the Division 1 title.

It was a nervous start for both teams but Maidenhead settled the quicker and played some nice passing football. Dynamos were struggling to get a foothold in the game and the first couple of chances fell to Maidenhead and a some good defending and a decent save kept the score level.
However, the pressure told and a long free kick eluded the keeper and ended up in the back of the net to give Maidenhead a deserved lead.
Dynamos struggled to create any meaningful chances in the remainder of the half and Maidenhead were top of the league at half time.

The second half saw Dynamos start well and were closing down Maidenhead quicker. A couple of early chances for Beau Kennedy saw a save and a block as Maidenhead defended well.
With an hour on the clock Lucas Endean took a free kick on the half way line and swung the ball into the box where Jackson McInally was on hand to score a stunning volley into the bottom corner of the net. A fantastic finish....and making the score 1-1.

After a period of sitting back Dynamos upped the effort in the remaining 10 minutes and went searching for the winner. A couple of half chances went wide and their keeper made a couple of good saves to keep it level.

The referee finally blew his whistle meaning Dynamos had won the Division 1 title and the crowd of over 150 went wild with celebrations.
