AVDFC U13 Youth 1-1 AVDFC U13 Dynamos

Dynamos club was host to a great match this morning as Stef's U13's Youth team hosted Graham's U13's Dynamos in an important Division 4 match.
The Dynamos team are currently top of the table with the Youth team in a mid-table position, 9 points behind. However, they have 5 games in hand...so could still challenge for the title.

The Dynamos team settled quicker and were putting some good passing moves together as they took control of possession early on. With about 20 minutes on the clock, a handball by a Youth player saw the referee give Dynamos a penalty which Alfie Terrell despatched superbly, beating the keeper. 1-0 Dynamos.
The half ended with Dynamos still on top and with a deserved lead.

The second half saw the Youth team start to gain some traction and they had a couple of early chances to score, but a good save and a missed opportunity went begging for them.
Dynamos also created some chances with the game very open and both teams could have scored a couple of goals.
As the game edged towards its conclusion, the Youth team were slightly on top and in the 69th minute (and last) minute of the match the pressure told and a corner wasn't cleared and Joseph White pounced to grab a late equaliser.

The match was played in good spirit and both teams are a credit to the club with their performances and sportsmanship throughout the match.
We wait to see how the League ends up.
