AVDFC Development 8-1 Sarratt Reserves

Michael East shuffled the pack from the last victory and with Damian Eatwell and David Percival still isolating, Chris Juraszek helped out.
In the second minute Jack Mac squeezed a cross through to Adrian Dinham but his shot went over the bar. Adrian had another chance and his shot was saved at the second attempt before James Young could get in.
12 minutes and Sarratt have a chance which George Zammit plucked from the air. Dynamos went straight on the attack as Harrison played in Adrian Dinham and his cross found George Armstrong who coolly slotted the ball home. 1-0 Dynamos.
At the other end Sarratt had another chance but a great headed clearance from Prince Madu stopped the attack.
19 minutes and James Young gave away a free kick but again Dynamos defended well with Jack Hodgins clearing with a towering header. Moments later the referee adjudged that Jack Mac fouled in the box and Sarratt scored the penalty despite George Zammit diving the right way. 1-1.
26 minutes and a corner from George Armstrong is met by Alex Mitchell but his shot goes over the bar.
Chris Shennan then controlled the ball well and threaded a ball through to Jack Mac and his shot hit the outside of the post and out for a goal kick. Dynamos were getting closer.
On the half hour mark Chris Shennan found himself as the last defender as the Sarratt attacker was through on goal. Shennan got a last ditch tackle in and George Zammit cleared the danger.
Sarratt were now having the majority of the ball and another shot saw Zammit scramble to his left and palm the ball away for a corner.
The last activity of the first half saw another George Armstrong corner, this time headed over by Chris Shennan.
Half time 1-1.
Michael East made 5 changes at halftime so all players got at least 45 minutes on pitch. George Todhunter, Charlie Hine, Loui Bowman, Jamie Carter and Jude Guest-Brainch all came on. Adrian, Harrison, Alex, Shennan and George A all coming off.

Sarratt had the first chance of the second half just failing to convert a corner, heading over Zammit’s bar.
53 minutes and Jack Mac received a ball from Charlie Hine and curled his shot just past the far post.
55 minutes and Dynamos took the lead. Great work from Jude G-B saw him cross the ball into the mixer and Jamie Carter got a deft touch to head past the keeper. 2-1 Dynamos.
A few minutes later Loui Bowman collected a pass from Jack Hodgins and set Jamie Carter through but he was just offside.
61 minutes and another goal with the same combination. Jude G-B collected a ball from Loui Bowman and he beat his man and set Jamie Carter through, this time onside. Jamie raced clear and slipped the ball under the keeper to make it 3-1 Dynamos.
Within a couple of minutes Dynamos had completely blitzed Sarratt as they went and scored again. This time Jude G-B battled hard to win the ball and eventually came away with it, beat the last man and calmly beat the keeper for a great individual goal. 4-1 Dynamos.
Harvey and Jack Mac were taken off and Alex Mitchell and George Armstrong both back on.
68 minutes and Charlie Hine combines well with Jude G-B to set James Young away but his shot goes wide of the mark.
Next up George Armstrong was the creative influence again as he crossed to Prince Madu who had made a gut busting run into the box but his header was just wide of the mark as Dynamos pushed for more goals.
Sarratt had a rare attack which saw George Zammit was more than equal to.
Shennan came on for James Young with quarter of an hour on the clock.
Goal number 5 was not long after. Alex Mitchell moved forward and played a great ball down the right flank to Loui Bowman. He skipped past a challenge and hit a pinpoint cross to Chris Shennan who arrived in the box and side-footed past the helpless keeper. 5-1 Dynamos.
82 minutes and Loui Bowman combined with Alex Mitchell again, this time Alex providing the pass to Jude G-B and he smashed a superb shot, beating the keeper, but rattling the bar and cleared.
85 minutes and Dynamos were running riot. Charlie Hine won the ball in the middle of the park and played a great ball through to Loui Bowman who was through on goal. He steadied himself and slotted the ball past the keeper to make it Dynamos 6-1.
With a couple of minutes left, Sarratt keeper came out and cleared but they lost possession with the keeper stranded. Jamie Carter seized the opportunity and hit a 35 yard lob over the keeper and into the unguarded net…! Jamie Carter had completed a great hat-trick in the second half. 7-1 Dynamos.
As the match entered the 90th minute, Dynamos had one last attack. Charlie Hine fizzed a ball at Louis Bowman and he somehow flicked the ball to over the defence to Jamie Carter. Jamie ran through on goal and hit a low shot which beat the keeper…and Chris Shennan was on the line…but the ball was already in before he smashed it. Was is Shennan’s goal? Was it Carter’s goal?....The linesman said it was already over…GOAL to Carter and his 4th of the game.
