U14's Dynamos into the Quarter Final of the League Cup...

YOUTH ROUND UP – March 16th/17th 2024

As the season is starting to head towards it’s conclusion, there are still a number of important Youth games going on.
The U18’s Dynamos had their penultimate match(es) with a double header against expected Champions, AFC Lightning. They lost both games 4-1 and 2-1 respectively with goals coming from Kyle Lawrence (penalty) and Aidan Rennie with the other.

The U16’s EJA team grabbed another point with a hard fought 1-1 draw away at Cambridge City. Levi Nicholson grabbing the goal.

The U15’s EJA team remain top of the league with a 3-1 win against Hertford Town. A brace from Harley Mark and a goal from Mason Leech securing the 3 points.
The U15’s Colts lost out 3-1 in a mid-table clash with Marlow Town.

Martyn Jones U14’s Dynamos go marching onto the Quarter Finals in the League Cup with a good 4-1 win against Harefield United from the same division. The next round is next week and they face Division 1 team, Ickenham Youth for a spot in the semi finals.
The U14’s Colts winning streak continues with an emphatic 8-1 win against bottom of the table Chesham Athletic. The pick of the goals was from Carrick Evans who volleyed their keepers drop kick back past him and into the net…!

With only 1 defeat all season the U13’s Dynamos faced a tough double header against expected league winners, Windsor Youth Whites. A 1-1 draw in the first match showed Dynamos were equal to their opponents, but the second match they lost out 4-1. Rehan scoring both goals on the day.
The U13’s Youth continue to climb the same division with a 2-0 win away at Gerrards Cross. Goals from Sid Kapiskar and Olivier Pior securing a decent win and moves them to 7th with lots of games in hand….
The U13’s Colts had a disappointing result at Chalfont St Peter, losing out 3-2 in a close match. With only 10 players it was always going to be tough. Goals from George Whetter and Himank Tripathy not enough to take any points.
The U13’s Girls team had a tough match away at league leaders Walton MK Lionesses, losing our 10-0 in the end.

It was draws all round for U12’s Youth and U12’s Colts this weekend. Dan Taylor’s Youth team started slowly but managed to grab a 2-2 draw with Risborough Rangers.
Velid’s Colts also had a 2-2 draw, this time with Ruislip Rangers.

Peter Medlycott’s U11’s Colts continue to set the pace in their division. With two matches this weekend they won 6-3 on Saturday against local rivals Stoke Mandeville. 5-0 up at half time, they were safe despite a comeback from Mandeville. Tommy (2), Dorin, Oliver, Cassius and Jimmy were all on the scoresheet. On Sunday they played Downley Dynamos and ran out 10-0 winners in a one sided match. Tommy was top scorer again with 4 goals and was ably supported by Cassius (3), Angad, Luc and Harry (the goalkeeper).

Toby’s U10’s continued their rich vein of form with 4 victories in their match up with Pitstone on Sunday morning. 14 goals scored in total and only 6 conceded. Goals were spread around between Kai (5), Max (2), Andrii, Noah S, Gaetan, Jacob, Harrison, Ali and Noah W.
It was a mixed bag of results for Chris Milburn’s U9’s Youth team. Winning 1, drawing 1 and losing 2 against a decent Penn & Tylers Green team. Jebin and Ismail were voted man of the match awards for the teams. Goals were from Jebin (2), Jesse, Daniel (2), George B & Lucas.

Daniel’s U8’s continue to play well and pressed well on Sunday morning grabbing 1 win, 2 draws and a loss against Tring Tornadoes.

Finally it is great to report that our Dinky Dynamos (U6’s) had non competitive matches against Stoke Mandeville at the weekend. Manager, Ian Alderman was thrilled to report 3 x wins and 1 x loss on the day. There are a good number of players coming through this age and look forward to seeing how they develop next season when they play league games in U7’s. Well done !!!
