Iain Willcocks29 Sep 2025 - 16:31

U15's Girls remain unbeaten this season !

[b]YOUTH ROUND UP – September Week 3/4

A couple of weeks to update on this time.

The U18 Floodlit team grabbed their 1st victory in the League beating Ampthill 3-2, Theo Cuthbery grabbing a brace and Harry Granville the other. This week they lost out 4-2 to MK Irish in the B&B Cup. Harry was in target again and Aidan Banks with the other.

U17 Colts have had a decent 4-1 win last week but lost out 5-1 this week against Downley Dynamos.

It has been a frustrating couple of weeks for Ben Sullivan’s U16 Dynamos team. Despite having plenty of chances to win their B&B match, they went out on penalties. This week they lost 1-0 to Ickenham as they hit a last minute winner. Just need to take their chances.
The U16 Youth had an unlucky 3-2 loss last week and didn’t play this week.

Erkine’s U15 Dynamos got a great 4-0 win last week against Bourne End. Kane grabbed another couple of goals with Max and Joseph getting the others. This week was a lot tougher as they went down to 10 men early with red card and penalty against them. The 10 men showed great character and resilience and came away with a draw. Kane grabbing a brace to add to his ever growing tally of goals.
The U15 Youth team lost 6-0 to a very good Marish Wizards team last week. However, being 6-0 at half time, having a good half time chat obviously worked as they didn’t concede in the second half.
Last week Bart’s U15 Colts got a deserved 2-2 draw with Risborough Rangers. Dharm and Freddie getting the goals…could have been a win but unfortunately they missed a penalty on 70 minutes. This week they played a much higher opposition, Marlow, in a cup match and despite good energy, they lost out 10-0.
The U15 Girls have made it 3 out of 3 wins this season as they sit top of the league. Last week they defeated Thame 5-3 with Harrier scoring 2 and Thea, Isabelle and Gabby scoring the other goals. This week they travelled to Launton and picked up an impressive 4-1 win. Going 1-0 down early on spurred them into action. Sophie and Tegan got Dynamos into the lead at halftime and Gabby and Amy grabbed a goal each in the second half.

Antonio’s U14 Dynamos got their first point of the season in a hard fought 3-3 draw away at Beaconsfield. In a very physical game, they shared the points with Ben, Malakai and Logan on the scoresheet. This week they lost out at home to Berkhamsted 6-3. Despite going 2-0 up early in the 1st half they went in 3-2 down. Ben did grab a goal but they lost out to the top team.
With no subs, 2 injuries and 4 players forced into new positions, the U14 Youth team were unlucky to lose 2-1 to Hazlemere. Jas got the solitary goal for Youth team. This week saw them take on Prestwood in a cup match and came out 6-1 winners. They dominated possession and pushed forward well with goals from Caleb (2), Aleck, Max, Sami and Harry.
The U14 Athletic have had a mixed 2 weeks. Ben Buckingham’s boys went 2-0 early against Preswood last week, but some great determination saw them go in at half time 3-2 up. They pushed on well and grabbed another couple of goals. This week they played higher opposition in the cup, with Hazlemere Hawks getting an 8-0 win. Just not to be.
U13 Dynamos have had a tough couple of weeks. Last week a JPL team in Harefield were a strong team, as expected and they lost 4-0 but kept battling hard. This week was the B&B Cup away to MK Wanderers, they panicked early on going 2-0 down quickly. Then the fight back looked complete as they got it back to 2-2 but they conceded with 5 minutes to go to lose out 3-2.
The U13 Youth got their first points of the season with a good 6-3 win over Harefield United last week. At 5-3 Harefield got a penalty which they missed and the Youth team grabbed a late goal to seal the victory.
A sleepy U13 Colts went 2-0 down early to local rivals Aylesbury Utd reported Ian Campin last week. Second saw a fightback with debutant, Izaan, getting a goal but as they pushed forward they conceded on the break to lose out 3-1 in the end. This week they had a good match with Gerrards Cross and only lost out 5-3 in a close match. Cut out the mistakes and they would be winning some if the games.

Toby’s U12 Dynamos have had a tough start with losing players, but they have kept going and are showing some fighting spirit as they learn to work with each other. A 4-0 loss last week was harsh and this week they scored their first goal of the campaign and went down 3-1 to Ruislip Rangers. Dexter got the goal which equalised at the time. We will monitor the situation with Toby as manager and may ask Helen not to go shopping and take on some managerial responsibilities…!
Naveen’s U12 Youth got another point in a 2-2 draw with Mandeville but will feel that is 2 points dropped as they were leading with a few minutes left. This week they struggled to break down a good Tring Tornadoes. They created a lot of chances but lets say the opposition linesmans flag was very busy unfortunately. They lost 7-2 in the end.
The U12 Colts were in action against Pitstone and a close match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Our U12 and U14 Panthers and Pumas represented Dynamos in the first BOBi League tournament of the season in Oxford. The newly formed U14’s stepped up well against some tough opposition teams and performed well.
There was a mixed bag of results with wins, draws and losses on the day with some very strong performances. Shout out to Daniel and Luna for player of the day performances in their teams.

Jay Bamford’s U11 Dynamos (he says Jonny doesn’t do much now) defeated Tring 3-0 last week with Seb, Daniel and Williams getting the goal in a dominant performance. This week they improved their finishing in front of goal in a 7-1 win over Chinnor Youth. Some excellent passing movement and scoring in evidence, great coaching Jay…!
Chris’ U11 Youth have had a mixed bag of results so far. Last week grabbing a 3-3 draw in a great end to end match with Stokenchurch. Venkata was on target again with 2 stunning goals and Daniel got the other. This week they played Aylesbury United who are a technically very good team losing out 6-2 in the end. They did create chances and Venkata scored again, supported by Finley with the other goal.
The U11 Colts got their 3rd win in a row last week as they despatched Maidenhead 5-1 at home. Alex, Jacob, Kevin and 2 goals from a Man of the Match performance, Harry, getting the win. Early Division favourites, Stoke Mandeville, were the opposition this week and despite some good play, they lost out 6-1 to a team that should probably be in the higher league, Aaron grabbing a well deserved goal.
The U11 girls were on the losing end of a 12 goal thriller at Stony Stratford. Despite being 6-1 down at half time, they battled back in the second half and almost stole a point but eventually lost 7-5. Kaya and Lexey scored their first ever Dynamos goals as well. This week they had another close match and ended up losing 3-2 to Real Bedford. Ella getting both goals and Theia pulled off a great penalty save as well.

The U10 Dynamos lost 3 and won 1 last week away at Tring Tornadoes. They boys are learning from training and bringing it into matches which is great to see. This week they faired slightly better winning 2 of their matches yesterday against Bourne End. The Blue team winning their first match this season. Harris and Danny getting the Player of the Match awards.
The U10 Youth won all 4 matches last week against Beaconsfield playing some great football along the way. This week they lost 3 close games against Stoke Mandeville, but woke up for the final match to win easily.

The U9 Dynamos won 1 and lost 3 against Crendon Corinthians last week, but played well and deserved more. The highlight being a debut goal from Frankie. This week saw 2 wins and 2 losses against Marlow Youth.
Last week saw the first ever Girls Derby match as the U9’s Yellows took on the U9’s Blues in a League match. The Blues came out on top 3-2 in a fantastic game played in the right spirit. Lara Gibbard (2) and Emilia Medd scoring the Blues goals. Sarang Gurung scored and Tehillah Michael got the other for her first Dynamos goal.

Ben’s U8 Atheltic team continued their unbeaten start winning all 4 games last week but suffered their first loss against Marlow Youth this week. They got 2 wins, 1 draw and a loss but showed great character in a close game. Committee will also monitor and may ask Ben to step down after this disappointment…!!
Ian’s U8 Dynamos were back to winning ways last week as they won 3 of their 4 matches.
Woodys U8 Youth picked up 3 wins and a loss for the first time this season against Haddenham hopefully kick starting their season. They continued that form this week winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 1 against local rivals Aylesbury United.
The Colts lost all 4 last week as they are learning the game but this week they got their first wins of the season against Penn & Tylers Green.

Finally the U7’s won 3 and drew 1 last weekend against Chinnor Youth reports Daniel Costello. They also got to play in their new kit !!! Great win.
