Unbeaten U11's Dynamos march on...

Youth Round Up – October 1st 2023

The U18’s Floodlit team were unlucky not to get a point away at Winslow on Thursday evening. Kyle Lawrence opened the scoring after latching onto a Max Mayer through ball. Winslow then struck either side of halftime to take a 2-1 lead. Kenzo Konate got the equaliser only for Winslow to score 2 minutes later and win the game 3-2.

Iain’s U18’s Dynamos team secured their first victory in the league with a 2-1 win over visiting Haddenham. A well taken penalty from Dylan Eatwell and that man again, Kyle Lawrence, scoring the winner.

Both U17’s teams in action this weekend had very tough matches. The U17’s Youth team losing out 7-3 away at Chesham Utd Blue and the U17’s Colts struggled against Naphill FC, losing 12-2 at the final whistle.

Woody’s U16’s Dynamos were back to winning ways with a solid 6-0 win in the Berks & Bucks Cup against MK Gallacticos. They are into the next round.
However the U16’s Colts suffered their first loss of the campaign going down 6-1 away at Slough Town.
The U16’s girls managed back to back victories with a great 4-0 win away at Birchwood Girls. Isla O’Sullivan on the scoresheet again with a brace. The other goals were from Evie Eatwell and Tatum Nicoll.

Matt & Kev’s U15’s Athletic team drew with Letchworth Garden City 1-1 at home. A scrappy first half saw them concede a goal, but a better second half performance saw Harley Mark score a penalty to share the points.
The U15’s Dynamos are still sitting top of Division 1 with a 1-0 win at Maidenhead Youth. Another goal from Beau Kennedy (4 in 4 for him) was enough to win the game. A strong performance from Dynamos and a mention to Lucas Endean who made an exceptional save in the closing minutes to keep the score at 1-0.
It’s a similar story in Division 2 as Granners U15’s Youth are also top after despatching Aylesbury United 2-1 in a tight match. Harry Granville scoring both goals and getting a deserved victory.
The U15’s Colts dropped their first points of the season with a 2-2 draw away to Holmer Green. They took an early 2 goal lead only to be pegged back to 2-2 and the boys battled well in a physical match.

The U14’s Dynamos also dropped their first points as they battled out a 5-5 draw in a 10-goal thriller at Wendover.
Nathan reports that his U14’s Colts defeated Thame, from a lower division, 2-1 at Thame. Not the best performance, but they are in the hat for the next round.

There was some great attacking football on display from Graham’s U13’s Dynamos this weekend as they defeated Marlow Youth 6-1 in a league match. This was a thoroughly deserved victory and it could have been a lot more…!
The U13’s Youth team remain undefeated with another win, this week being a 5-0 win away at Berkhamsted Raiders.
Not to be outdone, the U13’s Colts also remain undefeated as they won a close encounter with Maidenhead Utd, winning 4-3 in a tight match.
Shiraz’s U13’s Girls Blue team were against unbeaten Tower Hill Girls on Saturday morning and got a fantastic 3-3 draw against the early league leaders. Star of the match was Jessica Ansley scoring a superb hat-trick to earn a point.
The U13’s Girls Yellow team had a much more difficult match losing out 11-0 to Aylesbury United at the club.

Velid’s U12’s Colts couldn’t get their first win of the season against Penn & Tylers, losing out 2-1 in a close game at Haywood Way.

U11’s Dynamos Coach, Ben Stevens, was full of praise for his team as they also remain undefeated this season. A solid 6-2 win for them continues their impressive start to their campaign.
The U11’s Youth were well in their match with Marlow FC at half time reports Manager, David Walker, but a poor second half saw them lose out 12-3 in the end.
Ian Campin, coach for U11’s Colts, was gutted to lose their match 2-1 away at Prestwood. The game was heading for a deserved draw, but a last minute penalty to Prestwood saw them win the game.

The U10’s recorded 3 losses and a win against Marlow at the weekend. Both teams played well and some good passing on show. Lets hope they can get more wins next weekend.

Luke Sella was pleased with the U9’s Dynamos team performance this weekend securing 2 wins and 2 draws in their 4 matches against Haddenham U10’s. They are more than holding their own playing up a year this season.
Finally the U9’s Youth had a difficult morning at Bourne End, missing 3 key players, they lost all 4 matches to a decent Bourne End team who should probably be in a higher division. Nonetheless it was a gutsy performance from the young AVDFC team.
