YOUTH UPDATE – 14th/15th OCTOBER

With all home matches called off at the weekend at the club, a few teams had the week off. However, there was still lots of action involving Dynamos clubs over the weekend.

Firstly, the U18’s Floodlit team got a well deserved victory over Leverstock Green, 2-1, with goals from TJ Gibson and Owen Magorokosho sealing the win.

The U18’s Dynamos also got back to winning ways with another 12 goal thriller, this time winning 7-5 against Shiplake Allstars. A brace each for Jonny Buckthorpe, Aiden Rennie and Akmel Diaby and a solitary goal from Captain, Luca Van Danzig, doing the damage.
The U18’s EJA team also recorded a win to make it a clean sweep for the age group with a fantastic win over Barnet leaving them unbeaten in the League. TJ Gibson scored a penalty and a great goal after good play by Dylan Stevens. The other goal was another penalty scored by Max Sato.

The U17’s Youth lost out 6-3 to Burnham Juniors White on Sunday leaving them mid-table at the moment.
The U17’s Colts also lost out in another close encounter, this week losing out 3-2 to Aston Clinton. The score was 2-2 until the 88th minute with Keane Hutchings and Axl Hughes scoring the goals, only to concede with 2 minutes left.

The U16’s Colts remain mid-table after a 3-3 draw with bottom of the table Chinnor Youth. Manager, Richard Baber, was left frustrated after his team missed a hatful of chances to win.

Matt Kelloway and Kevin Borrett’s U15’s Athletic team won 4-0 in their local clash against Leighton Town. They had 4 different goalscorers which were James Byrom, Colby Harbour-Brooks, Harley Mark and Charlie Morris.
The U15’s Dynamos ran out impressive 10-1 winners at AFC Lightning to stay in top sport in Division 1. Beau Kennedy scored a hat-trick with Sam getting a brace. Jack, Jayden, Jackson, Kinsey and Will all scoring as well.
The U15’s Colts remain undefeated with a cup win against higher league opposition as the ran out 5-3 winners against Aylesbury United. The win was made even better as they were 3-1 down at half time.

Nathan Poole’s U14’s Colts came unstuck 6-0 in their cup match with higher opposition Ickenham Youth.

Graham Goulding’s U13’s Dynamos also lost out 6-0 in the cup to Berkhamsted Raiders, also from a higher league, but Graham reports his team didn’t show up.
The cup also paired the U13’s Youth and U13’s Colts against each other in a winner takes all cup game. The Youth team ran out 3-2 winners in a really close game which could have gone either way. However it is Stef Ziolkowski’s team who progress to the next round.
The U13’s girls teams had very differing results this week. The Yellow team losing out to a very impressive Kempston Rovers team 14-0.
However the Blue team kept their unbeaten run going with a 9-0 win in the Oxford League and they sit in 3rd place with a game in hand.

Ben Stevens reports a great team performance to beat local rivals Aylesbury United 2-1 in league. Also winning were the Colts team who smashed Marlow FC 8-1 at their pitch on Sunday morning. Great to get back to winning ways.
Both U9’s teams suffered defeats this weekend. The Dynamos team lost all 4 games but still learning as they are playing a year up this season.
Chris Milburn’s squad managed a draw and 3 x losses against a good Maidenhead team. All matches were very close and they are developing well as a group.
