With the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup taking place on the 7 August 2021 and clubs needing to have at least one competitive fixture before this date, the League Emergency Committee has decided that the first league fixtures will be in the midweek preceding 7 August, i.e. Tuesday 3 August or Wednesday 4 August as appropriate.
