A review of the Boxing Day action from Division 1 Central as FC sat out again due to water logging

Godalming Town scored a goal in each half to complete a 2-0 home win over Guildford City to go top of the table with Rugby Town's game at Aylesbury postponed and third placed Burnham, a goal down at the break, losing 2-0 at Slough Town, the home side's fifth successive victory. Biggleswade Town moved up a place to fifth when two goals in six first half minutes helped them to a 2-1 home win over fourth in the table Royston Town and Beaconsfield SYCOB, two ahead at the interval, won 3-1 at Chalfont St Peter to rise to sixth while Daventry Town, one up at the break, won 3-0 at home over bottom of the table Woodford United. Ashford Town (Middx) took the lead four minutes into the second half but needed a goal five minutes from time to win 2-1 at home against Chertsey Town and Barton Rovers, who took the lead after fifteen minutes, completed a 3-0 home win over Leighton Town while Thatcham Town, ahead from a fourth minute penalty but trailing two behind at half time, lost 4-2 at home to Fleet Town.
