Following a successful pilot in summer 2021, Aylesbury Vale Dynamos FC is launching Squad Girls’ Football, a new and exciting programme for girls, from Saturday 11th June.

Squad Girls’ Football provides girls aged 12-14 with a fun, relevant and engaging recreational offer that allows them to develop themselves as much as their football skills in a safe, inclusive environment.

“The programme has been specifically designed to give autonomy, choice and voice to the girls who are involved in the sessions,” says Head of Development at The Football Association, Louise Gear. “By adopting this approach, the girls will have the freedom to develop their social identity, become a valued member of a team and build their self-confidence through engaging in fun and flexible football activities”.

Squad Girls’ Football runs on Saturday mornings from 10:15am to 11:15am at Bedgrove Park (HP21 9TT).

To celebrate the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, Aylesbury Vale Dynamos FC is offering free Squad Girls’ Football and Weetabix Wildcats training until the 30th July.
