Sunday 5th March saw players from Aylesbury Vale Dynamos FC’s Wildcats, U9, U10 and U12 Girls teams travel to the Select Car Leasing Stadium to support Reading FC Women in their home match against West Ham United FC Women.

Dynamos are a Sister Club of Reading Women and the club were invited to provide the flag wavers and half-time entertainment for the match. Before the game started, the Dynamos girls got an exclusive opportunity to watch the players warm up from the sidelines. They then formed a guard of honour for the teams and match officials as they walked out on to the pitch. During the half-time break, the girls took part in penalty shootout and cross bar challenge in front of the fans. After the match, the girls got to meet the players who signed autographs and posed for photographs.

“Thank you everyone for today!” said Jess’s mum. “Jess had the BEST time. She is buzzing! I asked out of 10 how was your day, her response a trillion billion out of 10. I think the figures speak for themselves.”

“Today was absolutely amazing!” said Layla’s mum. “Thank you to all coaches looking after the girls and giving them these fantastic opportunities! We were privileged to be a part of it. The girls are all so kind and funny and it was a pleasure to see them all enjoying themselves.”

“Thank you so much to all of the coaches for all they do for the girls,” said Abigail and Isabelle’s mum. “Our two had an amazing day today, we all did! What you all do for the children is incredible, you really go above and beyond!”

Many thanks to all the girls, coaches and families that travelled to the Select Car Leasing Stadium to show their support for Reading Women. A big Dynamos thank you to all the Reading Women players and staff for making the girls feel so welcome and giving them an experience they will never forget.
