Dynamos support the NHS and welfare of club members.

With the government announcements this evening and the worrying spread of the virus within the vale, we have decided to do our bit and suspend training for all age groups until schools return.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but we feel with schools staying closed for an extra couple of weeks to try and curb the spread, it would be irresponsible of us to gather in large groups, albeit outside, when the country is fighting an uphill battle to combat this virus.

We realise at the time of writing, the government guidelines state youth football can continue, but we are concerned that for the sake of a training session, we are potentially adding to the list of potential cases the NHS would have to deal with.
We have over 500 members in the club making it very difficult to monitor and ensure we are doing our best to keep everyone safe at various venues across the town.

We will watch closely the ever updating guidelines from the government and the FA and look at the situation when the schools return on the 18th January.

We realise that this is disappointing for the kids, parents and managers alike, and would encourage our players to drag mum or dad out in the garden or park for a family kick about, or a bit of technical work to test out the new Christmas boots!

We will also be looking to run small invite only tournaments at the club for each age group during the summer to try and make up for some of the missed football over the past few months.

We hope you understand why we are making this decision. We have got this far together with the help and support of our members and volunteers.
Let’s hope this is the final push towards a positive restart to the season and we can get back to seeing a sea of yellow and blue across the football pitches of Buckinghamshire and beyond.

Stay safe and we’ll see you all soon,

Mike Borrett
Club Chairman.
