Bedworth currently lie Fourth in Division 1 Central, two points and two places above The Moles.
The club has spent £600,000 in the summer on an installation of a artificial 3G surface at the Oval, which was partly funded by a Football Foundation grant, The new facilities will be an interesting test for most visiting teams although most of the Moles squad are no strangers to 3G having trained at the Aylesbury Vale Academy all last winter due to the bad weather across the country. Bedworth, like Aylesbury, retained most of their squad from last season whilst they have also been bolstered by some new signings to strengthen the squad. Strikers DANIEL DUBIDAT and ALEX NAUGHTON both have started the season well with none and five goals respectively so the FC defence will need to be on their toes at the weekend.
Squad Update:
Missing from the Bedworth game will be James Weatherill injured in the FA Cup game against Kettering. Adam Logie is still injured and so is long term casualty Sam Bateman. Ricky Baker is in Canada with work
