With the close season in full effect, the cogs and wheels have been turning behind the doors at Hayward Way.
Unfortunately, one change happening will be Jordan King stepping down from his role as first team manager. Jordan came into the role midway through last season and quickly made his mark ending a winless run, and stabilising the squad. No stranger to the club, and with his knowledge of local players and the current squad found a decent balance to compete in the league causing a few upsets along the way. With the help of a small coaching group, including ex manager, Phil Granville, the guys worked hard to put some distance between us and the bottom of the table comfortably succeeding in that task. Jordan has balanced a busy work life with a new baby and young family and still managed to find time to run a step five football team. Family commitments have to come first with such a young family and Jordan has made the difficult decision to step down to spend more time with family, a decision we wholeheartedly accept and understand.

Jordan is a well respected member of the Dynamos family and we thank him for his hard work and efforts over the past season. We know he will still be part of the club supporting us and we look forward to seeing him and his family back At Haywood Way for the odd match here and there. All the best, Kingy. Jordan’s last input over the past couple of weeks has been working with us to find a replacement, and with that and we are delighted to welcome back Scott Reynolds to Haywood Way.
Scott was briefly involved a few seasons ago and rejoins the Dynamos to pick up the reins as first team manager. A wealth of local non-league knowledge and connections Scott will be working closely with our under 23’s management team and our under 18s team to promote our youth players through the Dynamos pathway into first team football.

With Scott comes a vast amount of experience and expertise in his coaching staff. Scott shares our ethos of promoting young players into the 23s and first team and we can’t wait to see what the future brings. Welcome on board. ??

26/27 First team manager:

I am delighted to accept the role of first team manager at Aylesbury Vale Dynamos FC.

I would like to thank the club chairman and committee members for reaching out so soon after the confirmation that Jordan could no longer commit to the role. Jordan is a friend of mine and I want to place on record my thanks to him for his help in this process and wish him and his young family all the very best in their next chapters.

Conversations have therefore taken place very quickly and for everyone involved it feels like the right club at the right time! So much enthusiasm and excitement was shared during the talks and that bodes very well for the future and the task in hand.

I am equally delighted to confirm that a strong management team has been confirmed. Ryan Gurton will join me as my Assistant Manager, both Brett Moran & Craig Wells join as coaches and we are all really happy that Jay Bamford will continue in his coaching role to conclude our strong management team.

All the staff have a wide range of coaching qualifications, extensive contacts in the game, a huge amount of trust in each other and experience at all different levels over the vast amount of years being involved.

We look forward to meeting the club members, supporters and wider Dynamos network.

One of the first jobs will be to make contact with the existing players and to make plans to build on some strong foundations put in place by Jordan King and his management staff.

This feels like a big family club, and one that we all forward to becoming part of and continuing this exciting journey both on and off the pitch.
