U16's Girls make Cup Semi-Final !

YOUTH ROUND UP – 13/14 APRIL 2024

With Easter now behind us, the final stages of the season can continue. With the weather holding out (so far) we were able to have some matches at the club again which was great to see.

The U18’s Floodlit team suffered a setback as they were beaten 4-0 away at 5th place Kings Langley. Dynamos slip to 3rd place after Hemel Hemstead won. They were without a number of key players however.
The U18’s EJA team narrowly lost 1-0 to St Margaretsbury Youth which saw the opposition move ahead of them in the league. They have 3 games left this season.

The U17’s Colts visited undefeated Seer Green on Sunday for a double header. A couple of superb performances saw them win 1-0 in the first match with Alex scoring from Harry’s pass. Then they drew 0-0 in the second match. First time this season Seer Green have lost and not scored a goal.

The U16’s Dynamos had 2 x matches this week as they play catch up in the EJA league. First off the lost narrowly, 3-2, to top of the table Arlesey Town. Kaiden Bunce and Ewan Ward with the goals. On Sunday they were at home to St Ives Town and grabbed a 3-3 draw. Kaiden Bunce on target again and Harry Norman grabbing a goal as well.
The U16’s Girls were back in action and played a cup match away at Birchwood FC. They have played them 3 times this season and lost all 3…so it was a superb result to win 3-2 and move into the Semi-Final of the cup. The hero of the day was Isla O’Sullivan, who bagged an impressive hat-trick.

The U15’s Dynamos were unlucky against Beaconsfield Youth as they went down 3-2 in a close match. Goals from Tye Duventru and Saif Ali-Khan not enough to get a result, along with a referee who didn’t have the best of matches (being polite).
The U15’s Youth continued their good run and are in second place in the League. In a close match with Redkore, they ran out 2-1 winners. Goals from Harry G and Henry K.

Our U14’s Dynamos grabbed another win as they chase the title in Division 2. An impressive 5-0 win against a good Maidenhead Utd team. They still have 7 games to play…!
The U14’s Colts had a double header with Holmer Green who were 1 place below them in the league table. In both matches, they were 3-0 up at half time and managed to hold on for two great victories despite Holmer Green fighting back. They won 3-2 and 3-1. Oliver Godfrey grabbed 3 goals with Dinis de Sousa, Oliver Long and Alex Willington also scoring.

The U13’s Dynamos continue to look favourites for the title with an impressive 5-0 win over 3rd place Marlow Youth. A slow start but a great goal from Jake sparked them into life and then a dominant performance to win. Goals from Jake (2), Rehan, Alfie and Jacob securing the 3 points.
The Youth team had a double header against Flackwell Heath and despite losing the first game with almost the last kick, 1-0, they came back and won the second match 5-2. Goals were from Max Brown (2), Josh Collins, Umar Zahoor and a superb strike from the halfway line from Josh Ziolkowski.

The only other match to report on was the U9’s Youth team who played their matches against Maidenhead Utd at the club. The Blue team winning both matches with goals from Daniel (2), Leander (2) and Lucas (2)….Leander managing to get 3 assists as well!
The Yellow team lost their matches in very close games with Harry and Ollie grabbing goals.
